A missing code is not always missing data. Hospitals practise differently. For example, continuous angiotensin II is recorded at 7 of 12 sites; HS3, HS4, HS7, HS8 and HS9 have none, most likely because they do not use it. A code absent from this page entirely (seen at fewer than two sites) may still exist in CLIF. Check the CLIF mCIDE vocabulary before you rule a variable out, and propose new codes to FLAIR.
